A special thank you to Dr. Saeed Moghaddam, Dr. Adam Kriz, and Stephanie Moore for their support.

Summer/Fall 2024
Undergraduate Honors Thesis
I developed and completed a written thesis titled "Evaluating Void Fraction Models for Two-Phase Flow in Microchanels." By systematically varying the flow rates of the liquid and gas phases in a 300-micron channel, I found that linear Armand-type void fraction correlations were the most effective predictors. In my oral defense, I presented these findings to my thesis supervisory committee and was awarded the summa cum laude honors distinction on my Bachelor's degree.
Spring 2024
UF MAE Poster Competition
Using my own data and figures developed by Dr. Adam Kriz and Stephanie Moore, I created a poster on my work in NESLabs for the departmental Spring 2024 poster competition. I won 3rd place! (rightmost person in the image)

Fall 2023
Device Fabrication in the NRF
At UF's Nanoscale Research Facility (NRF), I created components for Stephanie's experimental setup. Using state-of-the-art equipment, I sliced sensor chips (shown to the left), created silicone PDMS molds, soldered custom circuit boards, and tested circuitry.
Fall 2023
Manufacturing Device Components
To enhance Stephanie's experimental setup, I designed and manufactured custom components. I created an aluminum pillar heater using a micro-CNC/mill, and a plastic circuit board support structure (shown to the right) using a waterjet. These improvements are being used today in NESLabs.
