Hello there and thank you for visiting! My name is Jackson and I am a recent master's graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida, seeking employment in a design-related role in the medical devices industry. My primary academic focus was solid mechanics, with specialization in nonlinear structural design/optimization and finite element methods. I also have experience in thermal-fluids sciences (research), HVAC/refrigeration (undergraduate certificate), and control systems (internship). Whether it be conducting research in thermal sciences, working on the LapDog™ project in partnership with UF's College of Veterinary Medicine, tutoring UF's student-athletes, or practicing a new electric guitar riff, I always enjoy learning new things and working with other people.
